Prayer = new job+new friends+mo**y

Gary Valenciano - Could you be Messiah?

After all the wait, hefty hassles and exams finally I got what I want.

"Thank you so much Lord and I return to
you whatever I have at the moment."

I just started working last Monday, may be because of the new environment and different colleagues I need to adjust again. Waking up early is really one of the things I hate, and for sure I share the same feeling to those oil-body. Its just one of slices that I need to overcome, since Im not doing this just for myself but to my roots also. As to what my over used line pretty sure I will get the hang of this. It may take a while though but its definitely a brighter on my side.

Early last week I received an email from one my friend priest Fr. John Orat. More often than not, when you receive something that is not ear or eye catching you will just let it go and the worst thing is even deleting it. The email was something not ear nor eye cathching, but what it has was something more than a good news. Its about every finger in our hand has its own pointing out....check it.

This is beautiful - and it is surely worth making the 5 finger prayer a part of our lives.

1. Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."

2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger; as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger ; the smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you." Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.
with much thanks to Fr. John for the email

Valentine Dinner Date Recipe?Hhmmmmm....let me check it out

....The Perfect Valentine Dinner Date Recipe

It was Sunday, February 10, 2008 I received this email from Bentot(Ruben B. Licera Jr.) and was from pinoyworld.wordpress.com. I read the email got some tips for this month of loving souls. I can still have off pat at some point in my college days with those stuff toys, roses around the corner. I just dont know why I hate when this day comes. May be because I dont have somebody to share it with. I'm one of those folks who are still in rummage around the half of my cookie. I may still be looking at this point but for sure its definitely worth the wait.

Everybody maybe now is hounding for the best venue for the perfect Valentine’s Date, an eventual rendezvouz where there is an appeasing mood on the February 14th night. They hinted this recipe, I will try this for sure but the hitch is my valentine (laugh at loud) no I can see for sure.

Take this recipe as Chef Cupid prepares the perfect ingredients for your perfect Valentine Dinner date:

1. Work with your budge. There is a price for everything. But never go beyond what you can afford or you’ll end up stressed financially. Price may count, but value is treasured. Go for what is creative and imaginative.

2. Mix perfect mood and ambiance. Total silence is stale. Too much noise is havoc. A lovely dinner’s feel is ideal by the elaborate mixture songs and sound at a time it is required. Everything results in pleasure when taken on the right pace.

3.Sprinkle some scent of surprise. The element of not knowing what’s in store for the receiver simply takes anyone’s breath away. Gifts may be forgotten but surprises are treasured. Make the preparation more subtle and expect that impact it creates ends with a bang!

4. Serve everything with love. Make the night of the dinner pleasurable to your special someone. Make them feel that you are at their disposal. Give them the utmost attention they deserve. Let them feel that they own this night.

Colbie Calliat-Bubbly

Expect that after this, you’ll remember this night forever.

with much thanks to Bentot and pinoyworld.worldpress.com for this recipe...

Low cost houses in Cebu? get the information here...

I've been checking for cheap real estate in Cebu. Hoping to find out the house that I want and that will not compromise much of my savings. Home is where the banished sun concludes its day and everybody wishes to have a house that you can really say this is my comfort zone, and that does not leave me of wanting it. I used google at first to check for the cheap real estate to interiors of the house down to the facade of it. I was not failed and got the houses that I want and maybe days from now I can schedule for an ocular visit. And this is what I got!

Cordova Real Estate
Cordova is located at the southern most portion of Mactan Island and is an island all in its own. It is a very quiet and secluded area with few schools, but many new subdivisions promoting expatriate retirement in the Metro Cebu area.Check this website for information www.cordova.gov.ph

I haven't inquire as to how much is the price and the mode of payment for this house but you can check this website to inquire http://www.johnvill.com/ .

Corona del Mar
is located at Talisay City and is known for its "Inasal Baboy" (Roasted Pig). The municipality is now linked to Cebu City via the new South Coastal Highway from Lawaan, opened in 2004. This has brought some recent inward investment in the form of sub-divisions. Its 15-30 minute drive from downtown Cebu.

Imagine this. Coming home from work every day to a comfortable, sturdy home right by the sea - the sound of waves rolling against the seawall lulling you to sleep every night, and the salty fresh sea breeze waking you up every morning. Imagine having your own personal beach right at your doorstep. During the weekend, you can spend the entire day just watching the sun move across the sky. To many, this would be the definition of paradise. Now, this paradise has been made available to Cebu residents - exclusively at the Corona del Mar Homes.
A flagship project of Filinvest Land, Inc., Corona Del Mar takes pride in being the first of its kind in Cebu - a subdivision beside the beach. Homeowners can take comfort in never being too far away from nature, with a beautiful tract of beach very nearby, no matter how busy their life in the city may be.

The last time I went to Corona del Mar was last year. It was my friend's wedding and hired one of the function there for their reception. The place is lovely and serene check this website to ear more information about Corona del Mar.

What I just want to check are low cost houses but with a taste. I know its hard to get these houses but I got through the power of google.

Most of these houses cost only from 700, 000.00 pesos to 1 200, 000.00 million pesos. Pag ibig loan houses are also low cost, you need to be a member of Pag-ibig to be able to use loan from it, there are houses down payment just for 30, 000.00 pesos with a reservation of 5, 000.00 pesos to 10, 000.00 pesos.
Genesis homes at basak lapu lapu city is a low cost housing project , the price if using Pag -ibig loan is just 745,000.00 pesos , 30, 000.00 Equity and 5,000.00 reservation fee. Genesis Gaea is much cheaper its only a 1 storey house maybe for a couple with no child yet and for singles who likes to have his/her own house.Another low cost house is la montana in pit-os talamban , some prices are Php 530,000.00 only. Simplex 1 is also a low cost project , St. Bernadette is also a low cost project and St. Anne Lanes.

Since I like also hanging out in beaches I try looking houses that would not take hours of travel to the shore and here's what I got.

Collinwood Subdivision and Brookfield Subdivision

Check this link to see the the videos of these houses.
Still with these days I haven't gone for an ocular visit with this list I have. I'm still deciding as to which really I want. Hope I help you in one way or another with these list I have. Check my blog to get the information you need and for my future postings.

How to get a job in Singapore?

Although it may take a lot of things to do, but, once your done with it then your good to go.

First, you need to have your own passport, if you dont have one then check your local DFA(Department of Foreign Affairs) office. In Cebu where I got my passport its near Plaza Independencia. Here are some requirements needed: you need to have an authenticated birth certificate from NSO(National Statistics Office), be sure that the receipt is still there for they will not accept without it. Those authenticated birth certificate requested before 2005 will do without the receipt, beyond that year then you need to have a new authenticated birth certificate with a receipt. Don't forget to have passport sized pictures and NBI clearance that should be for abroad not local. If you want it rush you can get your passport as early as 3 days but, you need to pay Php 500-1000 I guess subjected to the number of pages you want. Once you have these all then your done with the first step.

Second, of course you need to have a round trip airline ticket. You can't buy an airline ticket without your passport since it is an international trip. With my case I bought my ticket from Cebu Pacific, they offer low fare promo check this website.
http://www.cebupacificair.com/.

Third, dont forget to bring all your credentials like your: diploma, transcript of records and certificates.

Fourth, be sure to have a place where you will be temporarily staying. If you have a friend, relative who's working there keep in touch with them. Maybe you can ask favor from them, to stay temporarily. If you want you can make a reservation in a hotel there but remember its costly. Another option is through a hostel this may cost you $20-$40(within this range) a night this is in Singaporean dollar (Singaporean $1=Php28-30 within this range). You can check this website to book for a hostel
http://www.hostelworld.com/ . That's why you need to have enought money to suffice while your looking for job.

Let's say you bought the ticket from Cebu Pacific you will arrive in Singapore's Airport Budget Terminal. There will be an embarkation card that will be distributed while your still in the plane. Be sure to fill it out and keep it, you will see there the number of days you want to stay in Singapore. It would be better to put there 30 days. Usually the immigration officer will give you 14 or 30 days.

Remember that your entry in Singapore is tourist since you will be applying there. Once your in Singapore dont fail to buy their local newspaper like The Strait Times. Every day they post companies on hire for personnel from Hotel, Engineering, Call Center, Hospital etc. or internet through these job portals:

Jobsdb:

Jobstreet:

Job Seek:

Monster:
http://www.monster.com.sg/
RecruitAsia:
http://www.recruitasia.com/

There are two ways to apply there its either you will submit your resume/curriculum vitae through email or walk in. The standard there is to submit online. Every time you see a number for you to call to inquire about the job don't hesitate to call and ask about the open position. Usually they will tell you to submit your application online but mostly they will set you for an interview which is great. Make sure that everday you can get an interview for bigger chances of getting hired.

With regard to your stay remember they will give you 14 days or 30 days if you can't still get a job after those days lapsed you can apply for extension for another a month. Check this website for more information
http://www.ica.gov.sg/ (Immigration & Checkpoints Authority). You can also apply for an Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate (EPEC) this is for foreigners who wish to look for a job in Singapore. The EPEC facilitates job searches by granting the holder a 1-year Social Visit Pass check this website for more information http://www.mom.gov.sg/.

Once your hired then that will definitely be a celebration. Singapore is one the best country in the world very clean, the people are great. Its one of the shopping capitals in the world from Gucci, D&G, Louis Vitton, Prada to local brands. If your on the tekki side they have if not all almost all gadgets you want from LCD monitor, laptops, psp to mp3 players everything maybe under the sun. Better start working with your papers and get it on!
