Falguni & Shane Peacock S/S 2012
Being baptized by Fergie of Black Eyed Peas, Falguni & Shane Peacock are striding down to the fashion scene like a fairytale. Known for their edgy, rocker, detailed, feather-ish, intricate pieces and beautiful materials Falguni & Shane Peacock are making it massive to the fashion industry. Kim Kardashian, Kat Graham, Kelly Rowland, Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez are just some of the celebrities who have wore this Indian brand.
Although its kinda custom-y, screaming-for-Nicki-Minaj type but if you want to make a statement, be high fashion and fashion forward this brand is to go and to die for as per Joan Rivers. Isn't it? I just can't get over of their very baroque design. I read somewhere else that it takes about ten people just to make one dress. If you check on the 4rth and 6th look (I think) is perfect for awards night. I can see J'Lo wearing the frock with dragonfly detail and gold sequined (I don't know what I'm talking! LOL). And that halter navy blue dress is screaming for Blake Lively to wear her. Watch out for it soon!
Yigal Azrouel Spring 2012
Comparing this Yigal Azrouel collection to Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, Richard Chai, Peter Som, Project Runway this is more to me a more pragmatic or utilitarian. He does such a beautiful work with great material.
Talking about utilitarian, thanks to Kate Middleton for introducing the recessionista in her. And that a being repeat offender is as right as rain. Well, this one is so as to call to mind everyone that its not a crime to be a fashion repeat offender.
Yigal's collection is understated yet beyond elegant. I think so far this is one of his best. Shopaholics for sure are going gaga with that yellow dress with flower prints (like the Blu Marine SS2011), leather jacket, hunter-green dress, tailored jackets and that stunning red gown.
Now you'll understand why these girls are working their ass off on the second quarter of the year! Just bare with me this is my premature POV as I'm still learning about this stuff. LOL! (Stuff? ..... - Miranda Priestley)
Marc Jacobs S/S 2012
Oversized are making a comeback! Its about time I think to give a break to those body-hugging. And give the slouchy, kinda laid-back and distressed (not really!) a chance to shine! Like a star that it is! And noticeably and as expected it will be bold solid colors. The ad-infinitum color-blocking that is! Can you just die when you see and orange paired with military/army green? Or just maybe a red and white or a black paired with any color? Really BA-NA-NAS! If you noticed there's something like Thakoon-ish the buttoned-shirt-dress-with puff sleeves (I don't know how they call it!).
Its just the third or fourth I think but it seems like more than a week. Can't wait for Michael Kors, Vera Wang, Yigal Azrouel and etc. Anyways, you can watch Marc Jacobs' entire collection here: Marc Jacobs

Topman Peacoat Project
Launching this October, the Peacoat Project brings together some of the top designers in menswear today. The chosen designers hail from both sides of the Atlantic and have all put a modern twist on a classic garment.
They're just all to die for! Isn't it? That double breasted peacoat with navy blue sleeves is dope! Its well tailored and the combination of navy blue and black is just prime. And about the entire look? I want everything just except that bonnet. Hehehehe (not to that!) For sure you've noticed that the last look is kinda identical to of Burberry's famous peacoats and trench. But, its AH-MAY-ZING! I'm not liking the zippers though a bit on the sleeves. And if I can tweak a bit on these looks, I want it on the look four. I understand that it somewhat embraces the rock 'n' roll but that printed-mustard top and that corduroy trousers with braided belt doesn't marry together (just for me!). I'm thinking of a darker shade of brown like a sepia chino to fuse the black peacoat. Whatchathink?
